Annual VFW AwardsApril 21, 2012
Every year, VFW Post 1349, here in Prattville, presents awards to individuals in the Police and Fire Departments who have excelled in the past year in our district. This year was no exception. Lt. Josh Brown was recognized as Firefighter of the Year. Bingham was not able to be present for the ceremony as his wife was in the hospital. Fire Medic Nicholas Wirshing was presented the EMT of the Year Award. Investigator Sean Malloy was awarded the Police Officer of the Year Award. Lt. Josh Brown and Fire Medic Nicholas Wirshing also won the National VFW Awards! We couldn't be prouder of all of our award winners. Please congratulate them when you see them!
