Military Servicemembers Honored for Service in Iraq

Captain Zachary Burton and CW2 Scott Carr presented Mayor Gillespie with a flag flown over Iraq in honor of the City of Prattville. Mayor Gillespie will have that flag and certificate hung with pride in a place of prominence in City Hall.

Members of the 1/131 Assault Helicopter Battalion have returned from Iraq and were honored with Commendations by Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr. The City of Prattville thanks Captain Zachary Burton, CW2 Scott Carr, CW2 Kevin Townson, Sgt Ronald Evans, Sgt George (Norm) Brooks, SPC Allen Adams, and SPC Anthony Greathouse for their service to our great nation.
